![]() That's usually when another character (usually Mickey) is like, "What if we step ON the ham to get over the fence?" And this is presented as the correct solution, which is just stupid. Let's say someone has to climb a fence and all Toodles has are a piece of boiled ham, a tennis ball, and a flashlight. The characters even use them at inappropriate times. The Mouskatools are absolutely dumb, and the show's methodology makes absolutely no sense to anyone with a basic knowledge of how things work. There are lots of sci-fi and adventure plotlines that don't fit within the Mickey Mouse universe. Some of the problems Mickey and his friends encounter are minor and aren't even a big deal, like bringing a baby bird back to its nest.Unsophisticated, simplistic, and generic bubblegum songs like the theme song, "The Hot Dog Dance", "Shake Your Peanut", "Choo Choo Boogie", and "Rock 'n Ride 'n Rally" (depending on one's view).Meh CGI animation, even for 2006-16 standards. This show may have misled some people into thinking that Mickey Mouse is only for younger children, which is totally not true. Most of the songs are just the characters rhythmically talking, and as such can't even be considered songs at all, except for the theme song, the Hot Dog Dance, and a handful of other songs. The way the episodes are structured may get repetitive to some viewers after a while.Toodles, a character exclusive to this show, has no purpose other than to provide Mouskatools. They also treat the audience like how Darby from My Friends Tigger & Pooh, Special Agent Oso, JoJo from JoJo's Circus, the Little Einsteins, the narrators and puppets from Baby Einstein, the Teletubbies, Dora the Explorer, Diego from Go, Diego, Go!, Blue from Blue's Room, Joe from the the later seasons of Blue's Clues, Barney the Dinosaur, Elmo from Sesame Street (when he is given the most screen time on Sesame Street), and Pinky Dinky Doo do. Speaking of them, everyone will often ask the audience unnecessary and pointless questions in every episode.Only a dozen of the characters from the Mickey Mouse franchise appear in this show. It's similar to Bear in the Big Blue House to the point where its replacement was used in a live show at the Disney theme parks in Orlando, Anaheim and Paris, France.Unlike House of Mouse (which had a different premise but retained the Mickey Mouse film series' comedy, writing, animation, acting, and cameos), this series only has a few of those. It isn't very faithful to the original Mickey Mouse for some reasons:.It also spawned the short animations called Minnie's Bow-Toons. After it ended, the show was spun off into Mickey and the Roadster Racers/Mickey Mouse Mixed-Up Adventures and Mickey Mouse Funhouse. ![]() The series was created by Disney veteran Bobs Gannaway.
